Kellie Martin is an American actor and director of films, is popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the drama about families Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. In addition, she is famous for playing the lead role in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin was the daughter of a department store buyer as well as an elementary school teacher. Her first acting experience was at seven years old when her aunt, who was an nanny for Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin to be an actor on the 1982 television series Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness, landing roles on both the small screen and big. Martin has a background as an actor, and a skilled dancer and photographer, has been in the industry for over twenty years. The mother of two daughters, she's the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the disease each day following the passing of her sister at 19 years old.
